Counsellor Profile
Tricia Coyle Counsellor In Plymouth
What is counselling?

Counselling is an approach to treating problems, usually psychological ones, in which clients are encouraged to solve their own problems with support from a counsellor. Counselling can help you discover your strengths and give you courage to live your life more fully while accepting past experiences.

What conditions can counselling help?

I work with clients both couples and individuals offering a safe, confidential and non judgemental place to work through their issues in regard to relationships, bereavement stress, anxiety, low self esteem, low self confidence, and parental support.

What benefits can be expected?

Some clients have set up barriers to feelings and this sometimes inhibits their emotional development. This can happen when we feel stressed, anxious or traumatised. Counselling can help you make sense of past experiences and help you put strategies in place, and it can also enable you to gain awareness and insight empowering you to move on with your life.

Using Cognitive Behavioural techniques within the session clients are empowered to take control of many conditions using these tried and tested methods.

Individual counselling 40 per session. Couple counselling 45 per session. A session lasts 50 mins (in accordance with British association of counselling and psychotherapy).
